365 - Days 4-11

Okay, I am waaay behind on posting my 365 day photos! So I'm going to post days 4-11 all in this one post. Enjoy!

April 30th, 2011 - Day 4

This is a new plant that I got a week or so ago.  I can't remember the name of it! But it has pretty flowers! I planted it in our back yard by our fence on one side that was looking pretty bare and ugly.  This flowering plant will actually grow to be pretty big, 12' by 12' the card said.

May 1, 2011, Day 5
This was taken on the last day of my Natural Light Portraiture class. We were told to find good contrast and the photo was taken in color and converted to black and white. That was our goal in this class, to take a photo with nice contrast, to convert to black and white.

May 2, 2011 - Day 6

Darn these dandilions that are taking over our yard! They are everywhere!  At least our dog gets a kick out of running through them!

May 3, 2011 - Day 7

Tuesday was my great-uncle's funeral. :(  The best thing about this day was that my mom and I saw family members that we have not seen in a very long time. It was good to talk to them and we all went out to eat together afterwards.
May 4, 2011 - Day 8

This is our dog, Ana. I bought a new camera (one that is smaller and more portable than my other camera) and it has a fish-eye setting on it. I thought this photo was pretty funny!

May 5, 2011 Day 9

I planted these bearded iris bulbs last year, and they grew but there were no flowers last year. This year, it is actually flowering! I'm so excited!

May 6, 2011 - Day 10

Today we went to a Royals game. This is my husband, I was trying to catch the reflection of the field in his sunglasses.

May 7, 2011 - Day 11

The bearded iris is starting to bloom! I have to warn that the next few days may include several photos of this flower as I want to catch is each day as it changes when it blooms.

So that is days 4-11! I hope to get better at keeping up with posting my photos each day instead of all in one post. But I can't guarantee that will happen!
